Born into a Naval family, Mr. Miller grew up all over the South of the United States. He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1995 and the University of Texas School of Law in 2001 - where he was elected permanent class president by his peers. After clerking for U.S. District Judge Ricardo H. Hinojosa for two years, Mr. Miller has worked as an associate attorney at Bean & Bean, LLP and as Of Counsel at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, LLP.


Among his numerous volunteer activities, Mr. Miller serves on the State Bar of Texas Minority Counsel Program Steering Committee, is the founder and a board director of LIVE Consortium, a Houston-based nonprofit that educates Houstonians about, and works to overcome, the stigmas associated with HIV/AIDS, and serves on LSU’s College of Music & Dramatic Arts Dean’s Taskforce.
