Multiple people were injured as a result of a boating accident in Delaware County, Ohio at approximately 7:00 p.m. on August 3, 2020. The accident occurred near a marina at Alum Creek State Park.
Eyewitness accounts indicate that a boat made a sharp turn and struck two young men who were tubing nearby the marina. At this time, it has been reported that one victim ultimately lost his life, and other individuals were reported hurt. Officers with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources have acknowledged that they are unable to conduct the traditional Ohio Boaters Education Course at this time.
