Bulk Carrier Rubina Runs Aground in Germany

On August 27, 2020, the bulk carrier Rubina ran aground in Germany.  At the time of the grounding, the vessel was in the Weser River proceeding from Bremen to Houston, Texas.  It is unknown at this time what caused the grounding, or if any crew members sustained injuries in the incident.

The Rubina is a bulk carrier owned by the German-based company Julia Schiffahrtsgesellschaft. The vessel is operated by Hanseatic Unity Handysize Pool.
