One Dead, Three Injured in Explosion on Greek Vessel Blue Horizon

New reports indicate that one of the crew members who was injured during an explosion in the engine room of the ro-ro ferry Blue Horizon on August 24, 2020 has died.  Four injured crew members were taken to a local hospital for treatment following the incident.  The condition of the remaining injured crewmembers is unknown.

The Blue Horizon is a passenger vessel owned by the Greece-based company Blue Star Ferries. The vessel was in Crete at the time of the incident.
