A plane carrying two people crashed on Sunday,August 16, 2020, in Osage Beach, Missouri. The plane crashed near the Grand Glaize Airport, and is believed to have had engine problems. Osage Beach is about 160 miles southeast of Kansas City, Missouri. The two victims have been identified by police as Scott and Amy Lowe of Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) will investigate the accident.
