The United States Coast Guard received a report at about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 15, regarding a capsized vessel off the coast of Biloxi, Mississippi. A Coast Guard Rescue Boat was directed to the vessel’s location about a half-mile offshore. Four people were resuced from the ship, a commercial fishing vessel named the Cajun Made.
Officials indicate shortly after the Coast Guard crew arrived on scene the vessel capsized, but the boat crew was able to rescue all four passengers. It is unclear at this time what injuries the passengers sustained.
