Local authorities are investigating a fatal vessel collision in BIloxi’s Back Bay that occurred late Friday night. The larger vessel involved in the incident had recently left Gollott’s Fresh Catch Seafood Restaurant.
Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer confirmed the two passengers of the smaller vessel were pronounced dead on the scene. The two passengers have been identified as Tommy Mallett, of Biloxi who was operating the boat, and Nadine Sekul.
The tragic incident is being investigated by the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources.
