Billings Plane Crash Injures Pilot

by | Sep 13, 2020 | Aviation Accident, Personal Injury

A plane crashed Saturday morning in Billings, Montana.  The pilot, the only person on board, survived the crash but required hospitalization to treat injuries sustained in the crash.   Witnesses reported the plane seemed to just drop out of the sky with no warning.  The pilot was in communication with Billings Logan International Airport when the plane dropped off radar.  He has reported engine problems as he approached the airport in an attempt to land the plane.  The plane involved is a twin-engine Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche.
