There was an explosion on the Trung Thao 36 BLC on the morning on September 7, 2020. The explosion occurred in the vessel’s portside cargo tanks. At the time, the ship was waiting to enter Vietnam’s Dung Quat port. There were twelve crew on board, one of whom is missing. The condition of the remaining crewmembers is unknown.
