Four Passengers Die in Hilltop Lakes, Texas Plane Crash

A plane crashed Sunday morning near College Station, Texas.  The plane, a single-engine Piper PA-46 Malibu, crashed near the Hilltop Lakes Airport.  Hilltop Lakes is located 45 miles north of College Station.  The plane was en route from Horseshoe Bay to Natchitoches, Louisiana.  Reports indicate the plane was experiencing engine problems and was attempting an emergency landing at the nearby airport.  Tragically, all four passengers on board the plane died in the crash.  The crash is being investigated by the National Transportation Safety Board.

According to records at the Federal Aviation Administration, the plane is owned by KMAC BRAVO, LLC in Lafayette, Louisiana.
