A plane crashed Thursday evening in Huntsville, Texas. The plane, a 1971 Piper PA-28 Cherokee, crashed in a field near TDCJ’s prison. The FAA has issued a preliminary report that indicates the plane lost power while approaching the Huntsville Regional Airport. It is unknown if anyone was injured in the crash.
