A plane crashed Thursday morning near Killeen, Texas, killing two people. The plane, a Quicksilver MX II Sprint Ultralight, crashed into the outside lane on Interstate 14. The plane was cut in half and wrapped around the highway’s guardrail. Witnesses indicated that before the crash they could not hear the plane’s engine. It is unclear at this time if engine failure was the cause of this tragic incident. The two victims of this crash have been identified as David Wesley and Stephen Cockrell.
