Offshore Support Vessel Dayang Topaz Hits Offshore Platform

The offshore support vessel Dayang Topaz has struck an oil platform off Kuala Baram, Sarawak, Malaysia on October 27, 2020.  At the time there were 125 people on board, both crew members and passengers.  Early reports indicate at least 1 person is dead, and 4 remain missing.  Search and rescue operations are likely ongoing.  The vessel is owned and operated by DESB Marine Services Sdn Bhd.
