Victims Identified in Deadly Terrebonne Parish Plane Crash

A plane crashed on Friday in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana.  The single engine fixed-wing plane crashed near Lake Hatch, 8 miles southwest of Houma, Louisiana. The pilot of the single-engine Cessna 182  Omar Fouad El-Aazami, 54, of Lumberton, Mississippi.  The only passenger was Houma resident Dr. Jan Marie Villemarette.  The plane left the Houma-Terrebonne airport and was en route to Brenham, Texas.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate the tragic crash.
