On Wednesday afternoon, there was a crash between an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck in Houston, Texas. Early reports indicate the 18-wheeler was traveling from the North Loop westbound to Highway 59 northbound when it crashed, and fell on top of a pickup truck located beside it. At least one person was taken to a hospital following the accident. By law, the driver of the 18-wheeler was required to travel at a safe rate of speed, and be aware of the surrounding traffic. It is unclear at this time as to what caused this accident.
