Two people have tragically lost their lives following a deadly crash involving an 18-wheeler on Monday, November 23, 2020. The crash occurred on I-55 in Jefferson County, Missouri. The 18-wheeler involved rear-ended a vehicle, and then crossed the median of the interstate before hitting another vehicle head on. By law, the driver of the 18-wheeler was required to travel at a safe rate of speed, and be aware of the surrounding traffic. Likewise, he was required to bring his vehicle to a complete stop before striking another vehicle from behind.
