Two Dead Following Telluride, Colorado Plane Crash

by | Nov 28, 2020 | Aviation Accident, Wrongful Death

A small single-engine Vans RV-4 plane crashed on Thursday as it was approaching the Telluride airport in Colorado.  The Telluride Regional Airport lost contact with the plane at about 1:30 p.m.  The pilot has been identified as Bryan Lee Kill, 48, of Huachuca City, Arizona.  His female passenger has not yet been identified.  The location of the airport, at the top of a mesa over 9,000 ft above sea level can make it a tough airport to use.  In early October, a plane with two newlyweds crashed at the airport shortly after takeoff.
