A single-engine Cessna 177 Cardinal crashed in Whidbey Island, Washington on Wednesday. The plane crashed near the Whidbey Airpark. The two individuals on board lost their lives in the accident. The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will investigate.
