Worker Crushed to Death at Michigan Plant

by | Nov 11, 2020 | Industrial Accident, Wrongful Death

Tragically, on Tuesday November 10, a worker at the Romeo Rim factory in Bruce Township, Michigan lost his life.  The victim, Davi Spano, was crushed to death when a 25,000 pound manufacturing mold fell off a plant wall and landed on him.  It is unclear what caused the incident at this time.

Large plants can pose significant dangers both to workers at the facilities and to the general public.  When dangerous work is involved, extra precautions must be takenr.  Although at this time it is not known what caused the mold to fall from the plant wall, safe plant operators must always ensure that equipment is regularly inspected and safely maintained.  Not only can an incident like this result in a catastrophic impact on the environment, but it can also result in a loss of life.
