A small Swift GC-1B airplane crashed on Saturday afternoon near Ottawa, Kansas. At the time, the plane was taxiing and attempting to take off from a roadway, before losing power and crashing in a nearby field. The pilot, Wade Mace, was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
