by | Dec 18, 2020 | Aviation Accident, Wrongful Death

A small airplane crashed on Wednesday morning on the Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana.  The plane was a Piper PA-28-180.  The pilot and passenger, both from Bossier City, lost their lives in the crash.  The victims have been identified as Jet Andrew Montgomery and Jon Cole Harris.  Our thoughts go out to those impacted by this tragic crash.  At present, it is not known what caused the accident.

There have been a number of recent plane crashes in Louisiana.  On December 1, 2020, a plane crashed in Jeff Davis Parish.  In late October, one died in a plane crash near Slidell.  Two lost their lives in an October 16, 2020 crash in Terrebonne Parish.
