Pilot Hurt in North Carolina Plane Crash

A small plane crashed on January 23, 2021 in Iredell County, North Carolina.  The plane was a single-engine A1B.  The plane crashed into Lake Norman, injuring the pilot on board.  It is unclear what caused the accident.

There have been a number of recent plane crashes so far in 2021.  A small plane crashed on Thursday, January 21, 2021 near Eagle Point, Oregon, injuring two.  A small airplane crashed on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 near Tallulah, Louisiana, killing one.  An ultralight small airplane crashed on Monday, January 11, 2021 in New Jersey.  Two were killed when a Hawker-Beechcraft G58 crashed on January 4, 2021, in Poinsett County, Arkansas.  A Piper PA-24 plane crashed on January 2, 2021, in Lyon Township, Michigan.
