There was a tragic accident involving an 18-wheeler in San Antonio, Texas on January 21, 2021.  An 18-wheeler carrying a load of molasses lost control of his truck, struck an abutment, and then left I-37.  After leaving I-37, the truck flew off an overpass onto eastbound Loop 1604.  The truck separated from the trailer.  The truck or trailer struck a Dodge Caravan heading westbound on 1604.  The driver of the 18-wheeler has been pronounced dead.  The two individuals in the Dodge Caravan were taken to Brooke Army Medical Center for treatment.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by this accident.
