A small plane crashed on January 4, 2021, in Poinsett County, Arkansas. The plane, a Hawker-Beechcraft G58 crashed in the northwest part of the county. Eyewitness reports indicate the plane may have had engine problems leading to the crash. There were two individuals on board, who were both pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
There have been a number of recent plane crashes involving Beechcraft Aircraft. In November, a Beechcraft Bonanza was involved in a mid-air collision near Fredericksburg, Texas. On September 28, 2020, a single-engine Beechcraft BE 36 Bonanza crashed near the Rusty Allen Airport in Lago Vista, Texas. In August, a Beechcraft Bonanza with four passengers on board crashed in Redding, California.
