A small plane crashed on Thursday, December 17, 2020 shortly after takeoff at the North Perry Airport in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The plane, a single-engine SOCATA TB10 Tobago, crashed about a mile from the airport. Four passengers were on the plane at the time of the crash. Reports indicate that one of the individuals on board the plane has lost his life. Family members have announced that Joseph Issac passed away on Saturday January 16, 2021.
There have been a number of recent crashes at the airport. In November, a pilot lost his life in a crash following engine trouble shortly after takeoff.
