A single-boat incident occurred on February 2, 2021 in Rankin County, Pennsylvania. Two individuals were on a small boat that struck a channel marker in the Ross Barnett Reservoir. The bulk carrier GIULIA I was struck by rough weather on January 26, 2021, resulting in one fatality and multiple injured crew men. A small recreational boat capsized on January 29, 2021 in Avoyelles Parish, LA, killing one. A recreational boat capsized on February 2, 2021 in San Augustine County, Texas.
