Fatal Accident involving 18-wheeler in Winkler County, Texas

There was a fatal accident involving an 18-wheeler in Winkler County, Texas on February 8, 2021.  The accident occurred on Highway 302 near Kermit, Texas.  Early reports indicate an 18-wheeler failed to control its speed and rear-ended a passenger vehicle.  Tragically, a 9 year old girl lost her life in the accident.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by this tragedy.

There was a deadly accident involving an 18-wheeler on Southeast Loop 410 in San Antonio, Texas on January 19, 2021.  On January 13, 2021, a pedestrian was killed after being struck by an 18-wheeler in Houston, Texas.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, in 2019 there were 3,610 deaths on Texas roads.  Another 256,338 persons were injured in motor vehicle traffic crashes in 2019.
