Earlier this week, the Coast Guard called off search and rescue efforts related to the missing crew members who were on board the SEACOR POWER. As most are aware, the lift boat SEACOR POWER capsized on April 13, 2021 south of Port Fourchon, Louisiana. At the time of the incident, the jack up rig was about 8 miles south of Port Fourchon. The vessel was en route to a Talos Energy offshore platform. A number of coast guard vessels and samaritan ships engaged in the search and rescue efforts.
