Major Crash involving 18-wheeler on I-10 in Beaumont, Texas

There was a major crash involving an 18-wheeler in Beaumont, Texas on June 24, 2021.  The accident occurred on Interstate 10 Eastbound near Willow.  The accident involved at least one big rig, which burst into flames, and multiple passenger vehicles.  Reports indicate the cab of the 18-wheeler was completely consumed in the fire.  Two women in an SUV involved in the crash were injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.  The accident was so severe that Interstate 10 in both directions was closed down due to hazmat concerns.  It is unknown what caused the crash.
