There was a deadly hot air balloon crash in Albuquerque, New Mexico on June 26, 2021. The balloon, a Cameron 0-120, crashed in a west Albuquerque neighborhood after striking power lines. The balloon caught fire after crashing to the ground. Four people on board were killed, and a fifth is in critical condition at a local hospital.
