Deadly 18-wheeler Crash in Duson, Louisiana

There was a deadly crash involving an 18-wheeler in Duson, Louisiana on July 6, 2021.  The accident occurred on Interstate 10 in Acadia Parish, Louisiana.  Reports indicate an eastbound 2011 Freightliner 18-wheeler experienced a front tire failure.  The 18-wheeler then struck a Ford F250, dragging the F250 across the median into the opposite lane of travel.  The 18-wheeler then struck a 2018 Toyota RAV 4 and a 2016 Ram pickup in the oncoming traffic lanes.  Local authorities have identified two deceased victims of the accident: John Cooper Guidry of Iowa and Joshua Lee Babineaux of Lafayette, Louisiana.
