Natural Gas Explosion in Farmersville, Texas – Two Killed

There was a deadly natural gas explosion in Farmersville, Texas on June 28, 2021.  According to the Collin County Sheriff’s Office , the explosion occurred in the 14000 block of Farm-to-Market 2756, just north of Farmersville.  At the time, maintenance work was being performed on the natural gas pipeline owned by Atmos Energy.  The subcontractors involved were Bobcat Contracting and Fesco Petroleum Engineering.  Two workers were killed in the explosion, and two were seriously injured.  The victims have been identified as 22-year-old Ethan Knight of Mesquite, Texas and 35-year-old Deric Tarver of El Campo, Texas.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by this tragedy.
