Two Passengers Burned in Indiana Boat Fire

There was a boating accident on Lake Wawasee near Syracuse, Indiana on July 24, 2021.  According to reports, the vessel’s owner attempted to restart the engine after re-fueling.  During this a fire broke out on board the boat.  Two out of eight passengers on board sustained second degree burns.  The two burned victims were taken to a local burn center for medical treatment.
