Fire and Explosion at Little Rock, Arkansas Recycling Plant

There was a massive fire at the Goldman Recycling Plant in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 21, 2021. The facility is located at 1701 E. 14th Street.  The fire caused multiple explosions from propane tanks at the plant.  It is unknown what caused the fire to break out, or if anyone was injured as a result.

There have been a number of incidents at industrial and processing plants.  There was an explosion at a Savannah, Georgia facility on September 14, 2021.  There was an explosion at the James Oxygen & Supply facility located in Hickory, North Carolina on September 3, 2021.  There was an explosion at the Hazlehurst Wood Pellets Mill located in Hazlehurst, Georgia on September 2, 2021.  There was a dangerous chemical leak at the LyondellBasell Industries facility in La Porte, Texas on July 27, 2021.  There was a chemical leak at the Dow Chemical Plant in La Porte, Texas on July 21, 2021.   One person was killed in an explosion at the Calpine Natural Gas Generation Plant in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 18, 2021.There was a fire at the Valero Energy Corp. refinery in Port Arthur, Texas on June 10, 2021.
