There was a rollover accident involving an 18-wheeler in Falls County, Texas on November 19, 2021.  The accident occurred near the intersections of FM147 and FM1240.  Reports indicate that an 18-wheeler rolled over, resulting in a release of anhydrous ammonia in the area.  The driver died as a result of the accident.  One of the first responders was taken to a local hospital as a result of his exposure to the chemical release.  Multiple state and municipal agencies assisted in the hazmat operations to prevent anyone else from being injured due to the spill.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by this accident.
