Coast Guard Rescues Four from Capsized Boat in Tampa Bay, Florida

There was a recreational boating accident in St. Petersburg, Florida on March 5, 2022.  According to authorities, four men who were on a sinking vessel were rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard.  A motorist was able to see flares sent up by the men, and alerted the Coast Guard.  All four on board the boat were rescued.

There have been a number of recent incidents involving vessels.  There was a vessel collision between the Dominic S and the Marilyn M in the early morning of February 23, 2022.  The bulk carrier NAMURA QUEEN was hit by a missile on February 25, 2022.  There was an incident on the bulk carrier Richard Oldendorff on February 25, 2022.  The bulk carrier BANGLAR SAMRIDDHI was hit by a missile on March 2, 2022.  There was a recreational boating accident in Tennessee on March 2, 2022.
