Hydrogen Explosion at Plant in Towanda, Pennsylvania – Multiple Injuries

There was a hydrogen explosion at the Global Tungsten & Powders Plant in Towanda, Pennsylvania on April 21, 2022.  The facility manufactures powders including: tungsten, tungsten carbide, molybdenum, and cobalt.  According to reports, at least five workers at the plant were injured and taken to Towanda Memorial Hospital and Robert Packer Hospital for medical treatment.  The explosion remains under investigation.
