Charter Bus Crash in Attalla, Alabama – 11 Injured

There was a crash involving a charter bus in Etowah County, Alabama on July 8, 2022.  The crash occurred on Interstate 59 northbound in Attalla, Alabama.  The bus was traveling southbound on the highway before crossing the median and crashing.  The bus was carrying 55 passengers, family members heading to a family reunion in Tuscaloosa.  At least 11 passengers on the bus were injured and taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.  The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
