A charter bus crashed near Eugene, Missouri on July 14, 2022. According to authorities, the charter bus left Highway 54 eastbound before striking a fence and a house. The bus came to rest in a nearby field. The bus was carrying a youth group from Immanuel Lutheran Church and School. It is believed that the driver of the bus fell asleep.
