Explosion at Paper Mill in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina

There was an explosion at the West Rock Paper Mill in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina on August 25, 2022.  According to reports, a piece of machinery at the plant exploded, causing multiple injuries to workers at the facility.  Four workers are believed to have sustained steam burns in the incident.  The workers were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
