Two Small Planes Collide Midair in Watsonville, California

Two planes were involved in a midair collision in Watsonville, California on August 18, 2022.  According to reports, a single-engine Cessna 152 and a twin-engine Cessna 340, collided midair at the Watsonville Municipal Airport.  Both planes were making final approaches to land at the airport.  There were two people on board the Cessna 340, and one person on the Cessna 152.  Multiple fatalities have been reported.
