A worker was killed in a trench collapse at a construction site in Renton, Washington on September 7, 2022. According to reports, the victim fell into a twenty foot deep trench when it partially collapsed on top of him Wednesday afternoon. First responders attempted to rescue the worker but were unable to do so in time. His body was recovered late Wednesday night. The victim has been identified as Surjit Gill, an employee of High Industries. The construction company on the project is AAA Contractors Inc.
