There was a carbon monoxide poisoning on board the general cargo ship REGGEBORG on December 25, 2022. At the time, the vessel was at anchorage off the coast of Delaware. The vessel was en route from Jacksonville, Florida to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. According to reports, at least five crew members were exposed to carbon monoxide on board. The five crew members were evacuated to shore for medical treatment by the United States Coast Guard. The incident remains under investigation.
