Worker Killed after Building Collapse in Chicago, Illinois

There was a deadly accident at a construction project in Chicago, Illinois on January 12, 2023.  According to reports, a worker became trapped after a partial building collapse.  The project was in the 700-block of East Oakwood Boulevard.  The worker was trapped under multiple feet of debris.  The worker was pronounced dead at University of Chicago Medical Center.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by this incident.
