Deadly Explosion at Plant in West Reading, Pennsylvania

There was a deadly explosion at the R.M. Palmer Co. chocolate plant in West Reading, Pennsylvania on March 24, 2023.  Reports indicate that at least two workers were confirmed dead, with numerous others injured or missing at this time.  The explosion was so large it damaged nearby buildings and homes.  Authorities confirmed that eight people were taken to Reading Hospital for treatment.  The cause of this deadly explosion remains under investigation.
