There was an explosion at an oil well site near Farmerville, Louisiana on June 20, 2023. According to reports, four oil tanks were involved in the explosion and resulting fire. One person was killed, and at least four others are believed to have been injured. The victim has been identified as Lee Green of Vivian, Louisiana. The injured workers were taken to Union General Hospital for care. Additional details have not yet been released.
