There was a crash involving a golf cart in Port Aransas, Texas on August 4, 2023. The crash happened on Friday night at the intersection of Alister Street and Roberts Avenue. According to reports, a suspected drunk driver caused a crash with the golf cart. At the time, there were six people on board the golf cart, who were in town celebrating a family birthday. At least three of the people on board sustained serious injuries and were taken to a hospital in Corpus Christi for medical care. The other driver was arrested for intoxication assault with a vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.
