A deadly accident involving a Honda SUV and an 18-wheeler occurred on Sunday, September 3, near Hope, Arkansas. Of the three occupants in the SUV, two died and the third, a minor, was rushed to the local hospital shortly after emergency medical services arrived on the scene. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing but it appears that the SUV became lodged underneath the 18-wheeler as both vehicles were heading westbound on Highway I-30. The two victims have been identified as Jerald Jones, 35, and Shundrekia Hill, 44, both residents of Texarkana, Texas. No one in the 18-wheeler was injured. This deadly crash remains under investigation.
