A car accident almost turned deadly this Wednesday, October 4, 2023. A woman driving a pickup truck in Gladwin County, Michigan was traveling south on F-97 in a 2006 GMC Sierra pickup truck when a County Transit Bus failed to yield and pulled out in front on her.
The ensuing accident occurred at approximately 8:00 a.m. according to Gladwin County Sheriff’s deputies who were dispatched to the scene. The local fire department utilized the jaws of life to extract the pickup driver from her mangled vehicle before getting her to the hospital. Thankfully, there were no fatalities, although both drivers required medical attention following the accident.
