Worker Electrocuted in Accident in Cambridge, Massachusetts

A contractor was killed after being electrocuted in an AT&T building in Cambridge, Massachusetts on November 7, 2023.  According to reports, a contractor was attempting to demolish equipment in the building when the incident occurred.  It is believed the equipment was an emergency lighting conduit.  The contractor’s identity has not yet been publicly released.  The cause of the incident remains under investigation.

There have been a number of incidents at industrial and manufacturing plants.  There was an explosion at the Arxada Chemical Plant in Rochester, New York on October 29, 2023.  There was a gas line explosion in Wappingers Falls, New York on November 2, 2023.  There was a fire at the Sound Resource Solutions chemical facility in Shepherd, Texas on November 8, 2023.
